Mathematics is one of the most important and best disciplines in the world and it belongs to the College of Science and studies in a large number of universities, and it is a wonderful discipline that will take the student to the worlds of abstraction and not as many people think that it is accounts and numbers, and mathematics is known as the science of studying abstract structures using logic and mathematical proof Mathematical notation, which is the backbone of most modern science that has contributed to the development of mankind over the past centuries, especially in physics and chemistry, has become one of the modern applied sciences intertwined with all other sciences, representing a prominent place in scientific studies in colleges.

Mathematics is characterized by a large number of characteristics and features, including special abstraction, in which symbols and equations are used, and symbols are dealt with through intangible relationships and learning is one of the essentials that every mathematician must master.

The wide spread of knowledge in the scientific age led to the classification of mathematics into two classes in which many disciplines are included:

- Research mathematics: Mathematics only serves as the development of new theories of evidence for other theoretical proof, and specialties are included in this category (algebra - analysis - theoretical possibilities - engineering - differential engineering ... etc.).

- Applied Mathematics: are specializations that have applications in fields other than mathematics, especially economic and physical sciences. This category (statistics - chaos theory - applied possibilities ... and others) is included in this category.

The study of leave in this specialization ranges from three to four years, depending on the university, but most universities have a period of study in which it is four years, where the student studies a large number of courses that help him master this specialization and familiarity with its details, in the first years the student studies courses that are the basis of mathematics Including (calculus, linear algebra, algebraic structures, mathematical statistics, etc.) in addition to decisions on the foundations of differential engineering such as (real analysis - differential equations).

As for the last years, the courses become deeper in mathematics, as the student studies physical mathematics, statistics, mathematical analysis, advanced differential engineering and other broad and advanced courses in mathematics.
