Translation and interpreting ( Turkish - Arabic )

Program Summary

In parallel to Turkey’s cultural and historical ties with Middle Eastern countries, there has recently been an increase in cooperation and relations between Turkey and Arabic-speaking countries in political, commercial and academic areas. These relationships, continuing at both local and international levels, have made it necessary to train translators in oral and written Arabic.

The Arabic Translation and Interpretation Program aims to train interpreters and translators:

Who have a well-developed sense of Arabic and Turkish languages
Who are knowledgeable about the cultures and institutions of both languages
Who have institutional and critical experience in the field of translation, along with practical experience
Who are familiar with the terminology of other fields, including Social Sciences, Political Science, Economics, Literature and Histor
