Russian Language and Literature

Program Summary

This specialization means studying the basics and literature of the Russian language.

(Russian Language Specialist):

• Creating a deep scientific background on the linguistics, structures and grammar of the Russian language.

• Extensive study of the heritage of the Russian-speaking literary peoples (novels, theater, poetry, story, ...).

• Acquire advanced skills in written and oral communication using this language and translation from and to it.

• Mastering the skills of teaching the Russian language to non-native speakers of various ages and levels.

There are two main branches for this specialty:

• Linguistics

• Literature of the Russian language
