Program Summary

Tourism Guidance Department was established to continues its education and training activities with its expert and professional academic staff and rich course contents such as Tourism Guidance, History, Archeology, Economics, Human Resources, Hotel Management, European Union and Tourism within the framework of four-year license plan. The purpose of Tourism Guidance Department to each student who completes four years of undergraduate education, to gain informations and skills in the fields such as Tourism and Tourist concepts, International Tourism and Turkey Tourism, Tourism Law, Hotel Management, Definition of Archeology, History at the same time prepare and train like a qualified, innovative, entrepreneur, competetive human resources.

The Department of Tourism Guidance provides students with a variety of opportunities both in their academic staff and in their international educational level and in their practical trips. With these opportunities, students who are able to move away from the theory and have the ability to practice as required by the profession graduate as the people who are needed by the tourism industry. The primary objective of the program is to have a good level of foreign language, high level of cultural knowledge, high knowledge about nature and cultural assets in our country, good human relations, analytical thinking, innovative, problem-solving and organizational ability, tolerance, courtesy, respect, honesty. as with basic and social values, leadership skills, to gain and trained individuals who can give an information and can take the local and foreign tourists sights of Turkey in the tourism industry.
