Orthodontics (orthodontics), is the specialty of the dental branch that diagnoses and controls harmony relationships between incompatible and vertical teeth, and attempts to prevent and treat them.

Orthodontic treatment is performed due to correcting the chewing and speaking function, which helps to provide better oral hygiene, provide aesthetics and provide psychological support by increasing the patient's confidence in himself in society.

Orthodontic treatment not only corrects dental crowding but also mismatches between upper and lower jaws and aesthetic problems. While early treatment of these discrepancies is very simple, surgical treatment support may be required in addition to wired therapy in advanced ages.

Orthodontic treatment is not lifetime and can be used at any age. It is important to correctly identify the patient's needs and to apply the correct treatment option.
