Program Summary

The aim of the Master of Guidance and Counseling program is to prepare cadres of specialists in the field of guidance and psychological counseling, mental health and social care
Program Goals
Enabling students to conduct scientific research in the psychological and educational field in a way that contributes to the enrichment and development of knowledge and responds to the diversity of needs and problems in the educational field and the challenges of comprehensive and sustainable development.

Prepare specialized cadres in psychological and educational counseling to take the necessary guiding steps such as conducting the counseling interview, case study, building the guiding relationship, using psychological counseling techniques, and providing advisory services to the parents of students and their families.

Providing learners with the ability to plan, design, and apply instructional programs in the school field at the preventive, curative, and developmental levels to work on solving educational, school, and psychological problems for students.

Providing learners with information related to the nature of the various psychological, social and behavioral problems, methods of diagnosis, intervention and counseling and treatment.
Preparing qualified cadres to contribute in providing advisory services to students' parents and their families
