Program Summary

Design research involves thinking and learning through transdisciplinary practices that engage the material, spatial, technical, ecological, political, economic, social and cultural developments in contemporary life.

Master in Design Program investigates design as an analytical and creative thinking process, providing a wide spectrum of metodologies in research in a collaborative environment.

While providing the tools for design research in practice, history and theory of design, the program seeks to guide students to problematize the issues producing critical, experimental, participatory, creative perspectives, transferring their disciplinary knowledge into the field of design research in elobaroted innovative ways.

The program is open to cross-interactions and trans-disciplinary contents and areas of production.

Candidates are offered with a wide selection of lectures, where they can structure their own personal and independent research and practice within program.

Students may also choose one of the five offered areas of specialization in the framework of the program:

Spatial Research
Design by Social Innovation
Artistic and Performative Research
Design History and Theory
The studies are supervised by the academic staff of Art and Design .
