Program Summary

Our Industry 4.0 Computer Sciences Master degree offers a full-time postgraduate program, aimed at providing solid scientific and technological foundations in order to innovate, design and develop future digital organisations based on the new Internet of Everything (IoE) paradigm.

It is suited for students planning both an academic or an industrial career and provides the theoretical basis and the practical expertise required to pursue in research or R&D organizations.

The master is fully taught in English and is hosted at the College of Sciences and Technologies

The fourth industrial revolution brings many challenges to companies in most sectors and allows new business models that until now were not possible. The Connected Industry 4.0 (CI4.0) is marked by a deep digitization of society and combines intelligent production technologies with high-speed communications that allow real-time access to big data and services.

This official Master is aimed at training students interested in working in companies that are accomplishing the transition to CI4.0 in a multidisciplinary way. It is necessary to combine the knowledge of industrial engineering (automation, robotics, mechanics) and telecommunications engineering (5G, industrial protocols, cybersecurity) with other disciplines such as industrial organization and Big Data analysis. Without forgetting the system integration part.

The Master, which is taught entirely in English, is professionally focused in multinational environments. It will allow students to learn the fundamental technologies associated with CI4.0, taught by teachers from five areas of knowledge. In addition, the most innovative applications will be analyzed by industry experts. Internships will be offered in the main companies in the sector, as well as scholarships for tuition.
