Program Summary

 

The Arts and Cultural Management Program aims to train professionals of the future who can develop creative projects and innovative approaches on local, national and international levels in the changing artistic, cultural, economic and social environment and can make decisions favorable to  participatory and sustainable institutions of arts and culture

With the leaps in technology and changes in professions that have taken place since the mid-twentieth century, phrases like ‘culture industry’ and ‘creative classes’ have become increasingly fashionable. Arts and Cultural Management is an interdisciplinary field that exists at the intersection of the many changes that have occurred and impacted both the Turkish and the global economy. Students in this program will be pioneers in this new field, and receive not only theoretical training, but also gain practical experience in the lively atmosphere of İstanbul, a great metropolitan center of arts and culture.
