Program Summary

"Architecture" is not only defined as a science, but rather a passion, creativity, talent, and work, in addition to being an art; It is the art of design.

Architecture is considered a branch of the Arts and Design Department, and it is also a branch of engineering or a kind of it. Where each type of engineering is concerned with a specific aspect, and architecture specializes in building, design and construction aspects.

The science of Architecture means that it is the science of construction and building design in order for a person to cover his material needs, such as housing or moral needs, such as security and safety, as this is done using building materials and appropriate construction methods.

Specialization is also closely related to urban design and urban planning.

Architecture is concerned with the overall form of architecture and aims to maintain the safety of the building and be free from dangers. The work of the architect starts with visualizing the design and then translating it into practice.

Architecture includes the following matters:

• Building.

• Construction.

• Conditioning.

• the design.

• lighting.

• Construction.

• Electrical connections.

• Computer Aided Design.

Architecture also includes repair of old buildings and the maintenance of architectural heritage.
