Program Summary

The Department of Occupational Health and Safety aims to raise "Occupational Health and Safety Technicians" who have sufficient knowledge in the field of biology in order to ensure the safety of the working environment of the workplace, who can determine physical, chemical and psychological dangers and risks, have the required skills for reporting and tracking incidents and are well aware of legal regulations.

Occupational health and safety technicians are experts engaged for the creation of safe and healthy working environments for workers and employers.

After the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 took effect, it became mandatory to procure Occupational Health and Safety services regardless of the number of employees and sector. Thus, it became compulsory for all sectors to recruit occupational safety experts.
