Özyeğin University

Özyeğin University is located on the Asian side of the Bosphorus and was created in 2007 by billionaire Hüsnü M. Özyeğin.

Özyeğin University’s mission is to create, share, and apply knowledge in the service of society. The applied research agenda creates useful knowledge. also, they share the knowledge through their educational programs which transform the lives of their students. The application of this knowledge generates economic benefits to society through start-up and spin-out companies, and through improved efficiency and productivity for existing companies.

 Library 

 The library collection includes thousands of printed and electronic books and journals, databases, CDs, DVDs, multimedia resources in a wide range of subject areas as well as a rich variety of daily newspapers and board games. The collection is comprised of mostly electronic resources accessible online from anywhere anytime, while the printed and multimedia resources can be borrowed by authorized users with varying terms and conditions. Course materials are also a part of the library collection.

 Erasmus Exchange Program

  If you are interested in spending your exchange semester or year at OzU, you first need to contact your home institution’s International Office or exchange coordinator to learn if there is an Erasmus bilateral exchange agreement between your institution and OzU. Exchange students from partner institutions pay their regular tuition fees at the home institution and do not pay tuition at OzU.

Dormitories

are elaborately designed to cater to every need of residents. With their comfortable design and different housing options from single to triple and quad rooms, dormitories offer a warm and home-like atmosphere to the students. All rooms have bathrooms and are equipped with a fridge and a television. The dormitories also accommodate a wide range of amenities and offerings for common use including free laundry room, group study rooms, lounges, and guest reception rooms, movie theaters, TV rooms, recreation rooms, cafeterias, mini-markets, food and drink businesses, an infirmary, and ATMs.
