Istanbul Kultur University was founded on July 15, 1997, and the university is ranked among the best Turkish universities.

The university is located in Istanbul, on the European side of the city, Atakoy region.

Istanbul Kultur University has more than 80 agreements of international cooperation in the interest of scientific and academic progress.

SUMMER TERM

Summer Term is the education program that is carried out during the summer outside of fall and spring terms, which aims to increase education capacity and efficiency by taking advantage of the educational opportunities of the faculties and vocational schools and to help students graduate in a shorter period of time. However, it’s not considered to be the third semester.

DOUBLE MAJOR PROGRAM

The Istanbul Kültür University students who had a successful education period may be able to simultaneously enroll in another department, as long as they meet the conditions. The students who successfully complete the Double Major Program are eligible for two undergraduate diplomas.

LIBRARY AND DOCUMENTATION DEPARTMENT

It has a strong infrastructure that supports education and research programs, meets the information and document needs of faculty members, students and employees, and enables them to follow scientific developments in the world day by day.

SPORT AT IKU
Sports activities at Istanbul Kültür University are carried out under the responsibility of the Sports Club, which is established within the Student Clubs Association. The aim of the Sports Club is to bring together its students, academic and administrative staff members under the common denominator of sports, both to keep the spirit of Istanbul Kültür University alive.

İSTANBUL KÜLTÜR UNIVERSITY DORMITORIES

Istanbul Kultur University provides comfortable accommodation conditions for its students with its dormitories in Bahcelievler. Dormitories provide 359 students with the opportunity to continue their education in comfortable and reliable conditions.

The dormitory has 2, 3, and 4-person rooms and has a capacity of 148 beds. The rooms have a bathroom, toilet (24 hours hot water), bed, duvet, pillow, wardrobe, desk, and wireless internet.
